Welcome to our first development update for BlockyWorlds! In this update, we're taking a look at Pixel Paradise - the captivating spawn island where you'll start your journey across the many worlds (and beyond!)
Pixel Paradise is, simply put, the beating heart of BlockyWorlds. It's a hub for you, your friends and potential new comrades to meet, chat, and explore. The island is filled with secrets, mysterious and treasures undiscovered - and it's up to you to uncover them all!
The Town Center
In the center of the island lies the main town, a bustling hub filled with shops, businesses and marketplaces. We'll be revealing more about the town in the coming weeks, including the many unique locations it holds.
With that said, the town has something for everyone. You might have been able to discern a few shops from the cover art of today's update - but there's a lot more we can't wait to show you!

Mining Mayhem
We mentioned in our last update that every aspect of BlockyWorlds is custom-made, but is also a mash-up of a few different game modes - including prison.
Pixel Paradise is full with a variety of mines, each with their own resources - and, of course, their own dangers. One universal feature of each mine, however, is a discernible entrance. Each entrance is slightly elevated from the ground with a hangning lantern above it, and barrels and crates scattered around it.

Each mine has a different layout, and many have unique resources or treasures to uncover. Some have secret passages, hidden rooms, or even puzzles to solve. Take the resources you obtain and either use them in your world, or sell them at the town center for valuable coins (more on that in a future update!)
The Voxel Viaduct
The Voxel Viaduct is a beautiful, long bridge connecting Pixel Paradise to a small island called the Prismatic Peninsula. It's a sight to behold, but the sharp eyed among you might notice a slight problem with the laws of physics...

The Viaduct is held up using an unknown force, as each colum doesn't quite reach the ground. It's a mystery that we're sure you'll be able to solve - and we can't wait to see your theories!
The Tunnel Trials
Underneath Pixel Paradise lies a network of tunnels: ancient, mysterious and powerful. These tunnels are a maze of secrets, puzzles, dangers and treasures. You'll need some experience to navigate them, but the rewards are worth it.
The exact entrance to the tunnels aren't known - you'll need to follow a series of quests and clues to uncover them...
So, what's next?
