This week, we're taking a look at the first of many locations in the Pixel Paradise, the furniture store: Oak & Obsidian Furnishings.
A family-run business, Oak & Obsidian Furnishings is a quaint little shop located in the heart of the town center. The stock is a mix of traditional and modern, with a guarantee of something for everyone. Oak & Obsidian pride themselves on quality and craftsmanship, and it shows in every piece they sell.
Collections and Creations
In Oak & Obsidian, everything is arranged into neat little collections - stylised and categorised with care. From gardening tools to bedroom furniture, there's definitely something for everyone.

Each collection occupies a section of the store, and everything you see in a collection can be purchased from the store, even the floor! There are always four collections on display (read more about that below), with different themes.
During special events and holidays, there may be limited-time collections available, so be sure to check back often!
So, how do I buy something?
Instead of interacting with an NPC or typing a command, at Oak & Obsidian all you have to do is walk up to the item you want to buy and right-click it. A menu will pop up, showing you the price and giving you the option to purchase it.
When purchasing certain items, you can choose the colour at no extra cost!
When you hover an item, you'll see the price of said item which is purchased using the in-game currency (more on that in a future update!). If you have enough coins, you can purchase the item and it will be added to your inventory.
Is that all you sell?
When you first enter Oak & Obsidian Furnishings, you may think to yourself, "Is this really all they have?" - and you'd be forgiven for thinking so. The shop is small, and at first glance, there's very little it sells. But this is nothing more than an illusion.

However, Oak & Obsidian is a fast-paced store, and every 12 hours the collections update to show new items. This means that every time you visit, there's something new to see and buy. The store is always changing, and you never know what you might find!
